Why “Children” of God Will Not Bring Revival

The return of Jesus is very near. Even as we are on the brink of the greatest revival, God wants you to partner with Him in this end-time move.
However, no father will hand over his business to a child because the child will make a mess of it due to lack of maturity. Revival is our Father’s business, which He will entrust only with “sons” because only a son can manifest His Kingdom. The creation is waiting for sons to rise!
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19
The winds of revival will be carried by the “sons of God”, not “Children”. There is a big difference between a son and a child. Their needs and priorities are different; their prayers are different.
The Bible says in Galatians 4:1, “..the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything”.
God’s invitation to you
God is inviting you to invest into the most important project, and that project is YOU.
This season God wants you to leave your childish ways behind, and He wants you to invest into yourself, and most importantly, invest into your thinking, so that you can mature and manifest as a son of God in these end days.
Everything in your life, how far you will go and how much success you will have will depend on how much you are willing to invest in yourself.
How do I invest in myself?
If the idea of investing in yourself seems overwhelming, here’s the good news—it is not difficult. Simply follow the “little by little” principle, just as little by little God enabled the Israelites to possess the Promised Land.
“I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land.” Exodus 23:29-30
Little by little, grow in your thinking.
Start by intentionally investing into your time with the Lord. Increase in it little by little. If your time with the Word is 30 minutes, increase it a little more. If you pray for 30 minutes, increase it a little more.
Little by little, start making personal covenants with the Lord. For example, make a covenant that when you wake up, you will go to the Word of God instead of checking your phone.
Little by little, believe in God’s Word more than man’s. Little by little increase in your giving and serving in the house of God.
Your spiritual growth is in your hands
David says in Psalm 119:32, “I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart (broaden my understanding).”
Your spiritual growth is directly proportional to the Word that is hidden in your heart. The more time you spend with God’s Word, the more it will begin to grow you. You are upgraded at the level you eat the Word of God and at the level you believe.
Remember, spiritual growth cannot be imparted by laying on of hands. Simply attending church every Sunday will not make you grow. The only way you can grow spiritually is through the Word.
This is the key to your success. When you start loving the Word of God and implementing what you learn in your daily life, you will see that you are starting to fit into your Father’s shoes.
God wants you to grow and mature into a son because He has an inheritance bigger than your imagination, and He wants you to be prepared for it. Are the sons listening?
