Past Enticing You? Beware of This Scheme of the Enemy..

Are you constantly getting thoughts of your past? It could be thoughts of your past friends, relationships or locations that you have been in the past.
Child of God, know that it is a strategy of the enemy being played out to you. It’s time to wake up!
Because, that’s what the devil did to Israel. Right in the middle of their transition to the promise land, he made them think about the abundance of onions, garlic and the meat of Egypt. What he hid from them was that they ate all that with chains on their feet and in slavery.
You could have continued to have a great life in the world enjoying all the sin and lust of the flesh. But what you don’t realise is that in all of that you were a slave!
So, how should you overcome this strategy of the devil? It is by remembering and celebrating every bondage Christ set you free from. Then the enemy will not be able to make you long for Egypt again.
The Son now has set you free and given you freedom to enjoy the goodness of the promised land. So don’t be fooled with your past enticing you.
So, go in and celebrate every milestone of your deliverance! Remember, what you celebrate will multiply and the enemy will never be able to drag you back to your past.
But, what you ignore and take for granted you will lose and the Bible talks about how they began to get thoughts to go back to Egypt even after God delivered them and broke the chains of their bondage. (Read Numbers 11:4-6)
You shall not go back to slavery in Egypt. Know that you are a Son forever in the Kingdom of Jesus.
