This Is Why You Are Feeling Condemned..

Do you ever feel condemned, especially when a Word of correction comes to you?

If yes, know that when the Word of God comes to you, it is for you to grow, make corrections, and keep growing. It is not for you to hear the Word, look at your life, and say, “Oh, I’m not doing this,” and then sit under condemnation.

That is not God’s way of functioning. The Word of God will never bring condemnation. So if you are feeling condemned, it is because you have bought the lies of the enemy.

Investment of God

Many times you may get thoughts and you think those are your thoughts. But those thoughts may not be your thoughts. You may hear things like, “I cannot do much in life,” “Nobody loves me,” “My friends don’t care for me,” “They have isolated me,” or “Nobody even thinks about me.”

When such thoughts come, you need to stop them immediately because those are not your thoughts. That is the enemy speaking lies in your head.

When those thoughts come, you need to identify them. Don’t buy them or make them your thoughts.

You know you have bought them when you believe them long enough that you start speaking those lies. You call a friend and say, “Nobody cares for me.” Now the devil has made a sale. You bought his thoughts!

But when you hear thoughts that are not in alignment with the Word of God, thoughts of depression, anxiety, fear, or condemnation, open your mouth and say, “Enemy, I caught you. This is not my thought. I’m not buying your thoughts. Go find another customer.”

Don’t personalize those lies in your mind. The enemy attacks the mind. He throws thoughts that pull you down and make you feel like you are failing.

But God’s thoughts say, even if you fall seven times, rise again (Proverbs 24:16). God’s thought says, “You can do it. My mercy is new over you. Come on, build this good habit and keep spending time with Me.”

So stop buying the thoughts of the enemy and start thinking, speaking and building your life on the thoughts of God.

Shalom

The Word of God will never bring condemnation.
