Feeling Overwhelmed? Stop Surveying Your Problems, Start Surveying God
By Pastor Kim D’souza

We have a problem and our problem is that we survey our impossibilities too much. The Kingdom of God needs “spies” who can survey God through His Word, more than the giants.
Goliath was addressed as a “champion” in the book of Samuel thrice ( 1 Samuel 17:4, 23, 51 NKJV) . But when King Saul was talking to David, he called him “champion or warrior since his youth” You see, Saul had surveyed Goliath too much.
David on the other hand had a different vocabulary. He addressed Goliath, as “this uncircumcised Philistine” (1 Sam 17:26) because he had surveyed his God.
Can I give you a key?
When you see a mountain of impossibility before you, look up to heaven and you will see solutions.
When the disciples of Jesus came to him with an impossible situation of a demand for food from 5000 men, and a meagre supply of 5 loaves and 2 fish, I like what Jesus did. He looked up at heaven and saw the supply of heaven, and gave thanks!
When Jesus was faced with a dead Lazarus and his stinking body, Jesus lifted up His eyes at “life” in heaven and He gave thanks and spoke that life over a dead Lazarus.
Look up. Survey God.
Look up to a Kingdom of abundance that backs you. Don’t fix your gaze on the lack or impossible in your life.
Your lips will give away where your gaze is!
How do you know your gaze has not moved away from Him?
When there is no gratitude and praise on your lips because it can’t be that you are looking at His kingdom and grumbling or striving.
You can’t be looking up and yet see no change in your language.
Look up and Give thanks..
Broken? Sad? Depressed? Tired of living, so much so that you want to give up? These 10 images will change your mind..
Look up to heaven and you will see solutions.
