4 Keys To Attract Specific Prophecies Over Your Life

How many of you like it when you receive a specific prophesy for your life? A prophesy with absolute clarity? When God uncovers a secret before you?

Do you know you can do certain things that will make you a magnet to attract God’s presence over your life?

Let’s learn from the life of Abraham, 4 keys to attract specific prophesies over your life:

Specific Prophecies

1/ Come Prepared

The Bible says in Genesis 18:1 NKJV

“Then the Lord appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.”

While everyone was happy doing things they would routinely do, Abraham was waiting on the Lord. Unlike Lot who was found at the gate in the evening, (Genesis 19:1) Abraham was very intentional in seeking the Word. He followed the instruction that God gave Him and now He was waiting on the Lord, and that too, in the heat of the day!

Child of God, here’s the practical key: Never ever let a day go by when you have not meditated on God’s Word. Additionally make sure you go prepared when you gather together as a body. Pray in tongues, come prepared with a Word already in your Spirit, so now God can use your man of God to confirm what He has been speaking to you.

2/ Run to Honour

The Bible says in Genesis 18:2
So he (Abraham) lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground.

The key here: Abraham ran to honour.

Become a child of honour. Start honouring the Word like never before. Start honouring the voice that God has placed in your life. Because honour is what multiplies Gods favour over your life.

3/ Service

The Bible says in Genesis 18:4
Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree.

Service is the fruit of sonship. In fact the way you serve exposes your identity to the spiritual realm.
Do you know that the ones who serve get access to the “how” of a miracle, while others just see the miracle! In the incident when Jesus turns the water into wine, the Bible mentions that the servants knew the secret to the miracle, but the master didn’t (John 2:7-9)

Here’s a gem: The anointing you water (serve) is what will grow and multiply in your life.

4/ Pay a price

“And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant.” They said, “Do as you have said.””
Genesis 18:5 NKJV

Ah ha, saw that? Abraham just didn’t run to honour, he ran to honour with substance. He wanted to offer God something that costed him.

You see, the way you can receive breakthroughs like never before is when you become a person who values the presence of God so much that you refuse to come empty handed.

The specific prophesy!

The minute Abraham did these things we see in the same chapter, in the very next verse itself God gives him a specific prophesy. “And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” Genesis 18:10 NKJV

Child of God, may you treasure the Word and value the Word like never before, because God doesn’t want you to be happy with the small encounters you received. He wants to give you extended encounters and specific direction for your life just like He did for Abraham.
