Does the Way You Serve Cause God To Intervene for You?

When you get some kind of symptom in your body, what is your first tendency? Is it to search on Google? Or when you are faced with an unexpected problem, what do you do? Is it to call up people asking them to pray for you?
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.” (Daniel 6:10) NKJV
When Daniel was faced with a death penalty, he did not do anything different from what was his custom. Even though he knew there was an immense threat to his life, he did not do spiritual warfare, intercede for his life, or contact his friends to pray for him.
Instead, he simply went and did what he always did before his King—he gave thanks three times that day.
Daniel could have avoided this conflict by just stopping his prayer life for 30 days. Because the edict of the king was that petitions should be made to no other gods but him for 30 days. (Daniel 6:6-9)
But Daniel could not give up his routine even for one day. He would instead be thrown to lions than stop his routine prayer and thanksgiving to His God.
You are a product of your routines/habits.
What you are accustomed to will show on the day you are faced with a battle. Your response to a problem shows the faith you have walked in.
Daniel gave thanks, not cry for help. When you know God is with you, you don’t have to pray to Him to help you. His presence is your ever-present help in your time of trouble.
Serve God in such a way that the God you serve intervenes to help you in times of trouble because you have served the King with an excellent spirit.
When you serve God with an excellent spirit, the lions that kill will be your protection; the fire that burns will be your warmth; the gallow prepared to end your life will be upon your enemies, and the tomb that was prepared to bury you will be the location that resurrects you.
May the kings of this world bow before the God you have SERVED.
