I feel a bubbling joy in my heart as I write this post. I am so excited to share with you what the Holy Spirit is speaking to my heart. This word is specially for businessmen and entrepreneurs or if you are a leader or manager in the corporate world.
1. Trust God for supernatural wisdom
The decisions that you may make in your business or workplace will look unwise to the so called learned and experienced men around you, but when you hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit, you will see supernatural breakthroughs.
When Joseph was in service of Pharaoh king of Egypt, he started storing food and corn. Now any analyst or finance counsellor will tell you that Joseph was making a foolish move because the Bible says that those were the years of abundance or plentiful. But it was this seemingly foolish decision of Joseph that later on made the king exalt him over everyone else in the land.
That reminds me – Are you involved in stock markets? Have you thought of asking the Holy Spirit about the shares you need to buy or sell? Your mind may not agree to what He may be saying but still step out in faith and obey!
2. Trust God to turn your biggest loss day into your biggest profit day
Luke 5 speaks about a few fishermen who had laboured all night, but couldn’t catch a single fish. In other words, that was the worst day of their business. But early next morning at the Word of Jesus, Peter goes into the deep and throws his net and the catch was so huge that he had to call out to other fishermen to help.
Get ready, God is going to turn the biggest loss days of your life into the biggest profit days. All that the locusts have eaten, He will restore it back to you. Again, the key here is to obey His Word.
3. Supernatural favour is on your way
Do all the hard work to build a company/business that takes years to establish or simply sign a cheque and takeover an established company – which sounds better?
Here is a promise for you to claim on – Deuteronomy 6:11, The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant.
4. You will live a much more life
God is propelling you into a ‘much more’ life. You will have ‘much more’ in every area of your life. But this also requires a ‘much more’ radical faith that you may have not exercised in your God before, a ‘much more’ deeper intimacy with the Holy Spirit, a ‘much more’ desire for fellowship with your Creator than anything else.
Remember you can get more productive results in a short period of time applying the principles of God than with your wisdom and training. Give priority to the Word of God. Again look at the fishermen in the gospel of Luke 5. They had tried all that they could. In fact they were doing everything right as per the principles of fishing, but it was not working for them. But the moment they applied the principle of Jesus, they got a business that was beyond what laws of fishing could bring.
5. Get ready for inflow of out-of-the-box ideas
Whether you are running your own business from home, or working for someone else, be attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and He will provide you with creative ideas that will pave a way for your promotion. I was so encouraged to hear about a believer entrepreneur lady here in Mumbai who is a specialist in stitching bridal dresses. Till date, she has stitched 500 plus dresses, without making any rough cut outs on paper and the surprising fact is that she has no formal knowledge of stitching! That’s God’s grace.
Your ideas or your gifting will further open doors for divine connections and place you before people of authority. However never look or expect from people, trust God and He will exalt you.
