Lets do a simple paper experiment.
Step 1:
Take a large sheet of paper and try to tear it into two parts. The parts should be equal to each other.
Result:
The paper gets divided, but in an uneven manner.
Step 2:
Get a fresh sheet. This time fold the sheet right in the middle by applying little force, so as to create a demarcating line. Now try to tear it into two equal parts.
Result:
The task becomes easier and the paper gets split exactly into two halves.
Lesson:
Whether it’s a piece of paper or a relationship, it is easier to rip it apart when there is a ‘fold/bend’.
No man is perfect and hence no relationships will ever be perfect. However God desires successful relationships, especially with respect to marriages and the key here is to protect it from the bends of the evil one. Remember, it takes two hands to tear a paper and it take two lives to tear a relationship. Be quick to apologize and quick to forgive, never keep grudges, erase your egos, consider others better, walk in love — these are some of the ways you can avoid a ‘bend’ to take root between you and your loved ones.
