How God’s Power Gets Released

Have you noticed how during elections politicians fight to get elected to win and be placed into specific offices? These positions (offices) they get allow them to spread their influence through the power they receive by being “placed under a level of authority”. Their placement under these positions of authority grants them to carry a certain level of power from the government that can make them influence and manifest “changes” they want to see happen.
Where are all the powers of the world now?
Similarly God has raised, placed and seated his church In Christ Jesus who is seated at the Right hand of God himself. You are technically Gods right hand man. (Ephesians 1:20-23).
The Word goes on to say in verse 22, “He put all things under his feet and gave him to be HEAD over all things to the church which is His body…”
So let me ask you, where are all things placed under?
Answer: JESUS FEET!
But, if Christ Jesus is the HEAD! Then who is the feet?
Answer: It’s you beloved – His Church is His Body!
So, where are all the things of this world right now?
Answer: It’s under your feet.
This is how power is released. It’s not through you and I doing things but by being placed in positions that have authority and power. God is a Spirit and he has a spiritual body. If He is the head of His spiritual body, then you and I are the body of that spiritual God.
God does not place you in a position so that you can spend the rest of your life earning his Favour but rather He does it, so you can release his POWER.
You have been placed in such a position where all things are under your feet. I hear the Lord saying, it’s time my church started influencing and changing their world through the position I have placed them in. (Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:17-18 & Luke 10:18-19)
It’s Kingdom time now!
Don’t miss using the power and influence you have been provided, by the position you have been placed into.
Also, to move in authority you need to be a man or woman under authority. Remember the story of the gentile centurion in Luke 7:1-9?
The centurion acknowledged his placement under an authority (that contained power, dominion and rule) as the sole reason for his power to command an army of soldiers. His words were marvelled upon by Jesus himself, who later stated that “I have not found such GREAT FAITH, not even in Israel”
So what does it mean to be a man under authority?
It simply means to be obedient to the Authority God has placed over your life. If Jesus is your head then we must (body) must obey. For the body can only function in submission under the authority of the head.
As I mentioned earlier, position and authority is provided to believers by God’s grace. However, the release of authority and power comes through faith; and real faith is always accompanied by works. This requires “Belief in heart” (not head) towards God which produces works.
Therefore we can conclude that, being a man or woman under authority (obeying God)
⁃ Will allow you to enforce the will of the one whom you submit to
⁃ Will allow you to release power rather than talk about it.
⁃ Will allow you to walk in “GREAT FAITH”, because the faith you will now have will not be without works.
Most of us know about the “believer’s authority” but very few want to live a life submitted and surrendered under that authority.
It’s time the church became men and women under authority.
It’s time we release God’s power.
It’s time the church became men and women under authority.
