5 Ways to Move From Unbelief to Faith

God loves faith! In fact, the Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please Him (Heb 11:6). Your faith is the channel through which you can have everything that God has provided to you through His grace. Most Christians get robbed of their blessings because they move by feelings, and if they do not feel anything, they can be tricked by the enemy into believing that nothing has changed.
But we must start moving in faith instead of agreeing with “Mr Feelings”.
Here are 5 ways you can move into faith:
1. Have faith in the God IN you!
“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:22-23)
In the above verses, we notice Jesus never said to have faith in “Him”. He told his disciples to have faith in God. Jesus had complete confidence that the God in Him was one with Him and was able to do everything He said and did.
Many people can believe that the God of the Bible can do everything, but they have a problem believing that the GOD within them can do everything through them.
We must change our confessions and our beliefs. We must be able to say that Jesus and I are one. That’s why God gave us His Word so that in case we doubt, we can read and believe it.
2. Your confessions are important
You cannot believe and not say what you believe. That’s like believing your Heavenly Father is rich, but you never talk about it or tell any of your friends about your Father. Why? It’s because deep down, you are still unsure because you see lack, brokenness and limitation in you.
Remember the story of the fig tree that was cursed? Fig trees naturally bear fruit and then open their leaves. So when Jesus, even though it was not the season for figs, saw the tree fully loaded with leaves, He came to it searching for fruit. When he saw that it had none, He cursed it because the tree was like a hypocritical believer!
The green leaves here can symbolize a believer who keeps saying that he believes. But the fruit is your confession to the spiritual realm.
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)
It is not enough to say amen and say you believe, but you must confess boldly to make it manifest. Because confessions tell a lot about how deep one’s belief system is rooted.
3. Speak to your mountain
We must start speaking to our mountain instead of speaking to God about our mountain.
Philemon 1:6 says, “that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”; “acknowledging” and not “questioning”. Question your doubts, but believe the Word and speak victory over your impossible situations.
4. Get rid of every doubt in your heart
To get rid of every doubt in your heart, you must meditate and not just read the Word. This requires revelation, not just information in your head. The Bible says, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free” (John 8:32). The Word needs to set you free for it to become an established fact in your life.
5. Finally, guard your heart!
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)
“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34)
This season fill yourself with the Word of God. Read the Word until it comes alive in your life. Determine to speak the language of faith and not doubt. “Faith” needs to replace “fear”, “doubt”, and “worry”. Agree with God’s Word and remove every lie from your life, even if it is your current reality.
Remember, God’s Word does not lie!
We must change our confessions and our beliefs.
