Look Where You Are Staking Your faith On!

The LORD brought his people out of Egypt, loaded with silver and gold; and not one among the tribes of Israel even stumbled.
Psalm 105:37
Isn’t it amazing the way God made the Israelites exit from Egypt? Not only did they come out loaded with silver and gold, but also none among them was sick or feeble!
But how is it possible?
Because we know that the Israelites were under extreme harsh slavery under the Egyptians for 430 years non-stop. The Egyptians made the Israelites work “ruthlessly” (Exod. 1:13, 14), making their lives “bitter” (Exod. 1:14) with “hard” (Exod. 1:14; 6:9) service. In fact, when Moses went to speak to them on behalf of God, they refused to listen to him because of their “broken spirit” and harsh slavery (Exod. 6:9).
But what happened within a span of few hours that from being bruised and scarred physically and emotionally, they became super fit at the time of leaving?
Partaking of the Passover lamb
The night before they were to leave Egypt, God instituted the feast of Passover. The Israelites were told to slaughter a lamb and eat its meat and also apply its blood on their doorposts and they were healed and restored the very moment they put faith in God’s Word and obeyed Him.
And not just one, but every single one of the more than 2.5 million people that came out of Egypt including men, women, children, elders etc.
Without faith, all that we do is a ritual.
The Power of Communion
Now if partaking of the body and sprinkling of the blood of an animal could carry the healing of millions of people, then how much more can the blood and body of the Son of God?
Communion is an open invitation to partake of not just the blessings of God, but partake of God Himself.
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” (1 Corinthians 11:23-25).
Not just healing, but divine health is our portion.
Wow, what an awesome privilege!
Communion Will Not Work when…
Paul further writes to the church in Corinth that whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.(1 Corinthians 11:27).
We can partake of the communion in an unworthy way by our lack of faith.
You see there is tremendous power in partaking of the communion or the Lord’s Table but that power will not work unless you put your faith in it. In fact in the kingdom of God, anything without faith becomes a religious activity.
Without faith, your giving is religion.
Without faith, your reading the Bible is an activity.
Without faith, communion is just a ritual.
The Bible says, without faith it is impossible to please God.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:16)
All God needs and is pleased with is faith. Without faith, all that we do is a ritual. That’s when you partake of the communion in an unworthy manner.
Listen friend, if we can have faith to believe in the power of a small tablet, that after consuming one, within 15 minutes we will see some result, then its high time we start putting our faith in the power of partaking of the Lord’s table.
Even as you are reading this, and you are suffering physically in your body with any sickness or ailment, I would encourage you to take part in the communion by faith and receive your healing! In Jesus name!
